Lasa Sanctuary  is an all-volunteer 501c3 nonprofit animal rescue and sanctuary located in Wooster, Ohio.  Founded in 2011, we rescued our first farmed animals in the summer of 2013.  The sanctuary sits on 16.6 acres in Wayne County.  We are home to more than 150 animals of 20 different species, each with his/her own story of rescue.  An essential part of our work is to go beyond simply healing their bodies and to help heal their hearts after the traumas they have endured. Lasa is a life-long home where animals thrive in the bonds of love.
